The
Community Farm Store Staff:
Anne:

I started making changes to my overall health in my
early twenties while travelling abroad for four years.
More big changes came when I moved to Nelson
and discovered organic food and alternative healing
practices. There I trained in Art Therapy and helped
a friend start an organic produce delivery business
(Endless Harvest) which is, I’m happy to say, doing
very well. My partner was diagnosed four years ago
with celiac disease and that brought more big food
and lifestyle changes for our family which really has
been a blessing. I have been working at the store
almost 3 years now and I love it more with each
passing year. I have learned so much about health
and wellness and have made some dear friends with
co-workers and customers. I have just completed a
ten month herbal course which I enjoyed thoroughly
and am now excited to keep learning, experimenting
and sharing with others. My 6 year old son, Sam
is having lots of fun in kindergarten at the Waldorf
school and we like taking African drumming classes
together and him and his dad enjoy doing Capoeira
together. African dance and drumming is one of my
passions right now, one day you might just see me
bopping along in the hallway whilst making drumming
sounds. I think I've convinced Fiona to join
the class seeing me dancing at work. That's one
thing we have at work is fun.
