The
Community Farm Store Staff:
Meghan:

In telling about herself, Meghan says she was born on a beautiful
autumn day by the sea in Chemainus, grew up in West Africa and now, for some
reason, she is back in Canada. Meghan has been working at the Community
Farm Store on Mondays for about 3 years now. She and her family live in a cute
little 1920's farmhouse in the Vimy area, where they have chickens, donkeys,
and hopefully next year, a huge garden, milk cow and bee hives. She has also
planted many baby fruit trees! Travelling in Africa as a child gave Meghan an
interest in other cultures which led her to achieve a BA in Anthropology several
years ago. Now she is a singer with Ensemble Laude (a medieval women's
choir), a mother of 3, and a Baha'I, not necessarily in that order! Meghan is
grateful to be working with friendly, dedicated people who are committed to
working for a better world.
